Default I really don't know...

but it seems to me that if it was hit or you hit something (hard enough to snap the control arm) that there might be some other evidence like a messed up wheel or tire.
If they still won't fix it under warrenty, the only thing that I can think of is calling AoA... and we all know how helpful they can be!

Default If you were hit from the side, there would be evidence from that impact.

I would think that it would be obvious.

So its just the control arm? If it isn't covered under warranty, maybe you should buy the CPP adjustable control arms.

Default elevate this to AoA >>

for some reason... everyone else doesn't have to do their jobs and back it up. I run a small business and I would never think of treating people the way I hear some are treated by their dealers.

if you were struck in an accident... or if you even hit a curb.. your wheel would be scuffed or damaged. snap pics of all of it... call AoA and a lawyer.

Default Ouch! I always thought those arms were junk. I could bend them with a pliers

I just installed CPP control arms. These things are a rock compared to the stamped steel ones we have. I'll see how they hold up in AutoX's starting this weekend. Plus I'm happy with the rear's ~1 degree negative camber and ~0 toe now

Default Is there any visible damage on the control arm itself. The only thing I can think of, with no

external damage, is you might have cut across a curb and the curb damaged the control arm.

Default

Catching a curb at that height would likely do more damage than just the arm tho
