Default Update on my bumper repaint...

Well, I found a local paint supply store that mixes automotive paints - does work for some auto body store here in town.

Here's what I got, a pint of PPG denim blue paint, reducer, fast drying clear coat, and some catalyst. I'm using a "diposable" spray gun (just replace the cartiage) that holds 6 oz of liquid. I premix the paint, put into the glass, and spray! Came out really nice.

Here's a shot of my pre-cleared bumper...notice the two tone? I've also painted the center bar of the side gills.

I've still got enough paint to do the front bumper, engine covers and strut bar. 1 pint = 2 pints of paint (1 part paint, 1 part reducer). I've just clear coated the bumper and will need to wet sand to remove the orange peel. So far so good!

Default seems like a good match...I put the bumper next to the car and looked

almost right on. I'll have to see what it looks like when I'm done sanding tho.

Default thanks Dani! I can't wait to see this all completed, it's taken more time since I ran out of

paint, plus not having done this before.

Default have you painted stuff like this before?

I want to pull my front bumper off and clean it, sand it, respray it again. I have never done anything like that before so I am nervous. Looking for advice and tips
