Default no, I think he meant, what about little dust particles getting onto the wet paint >>

surface. It looks pretty bad when it dries...you'll need to sand it and then repaint again. And also, you should also use several coats...with the reducer amount you're using...I think you need tons of layers...and then layers of clear.

Default 3 layers of base coat, and 3-4 layers of clear...and fvisual inspection of the paint

it looks pretty good so far. No lint or dust.

Don't most body shops put on at least 5-7 layers of paint, and same for clear?

Default I'm not sure. This is my first time painting, so I'll see how these layers stand...

according to the paint manufacturer, thoses are the recommended layers.

If it starts to chip or something, I can always throw on a couple more layers.
