Default No, but I did provide a new bottle of fluid with the parts, in case they needed it.

Somehow, they must've used the entire bottle, because I didn't get anything back.

The service receipt also said "Bleed (4 corners)."

Default ok, so the fluid was flushed. new fluid is not needed with a brake / rotor swap

in fact when you replace worn pads with new ones, the fluid level in the reservoir will actually GO UP... so in some cases (such as if fluid had been added before) you may need to suck some of the fluid OUT of the master cylinder reservoir when putting on new pads.

fluid should be changed every 2 years .... it has nothing to do with when new pads are installed.
