Default Update- My TT is fixed and has a new alternator..>

I posted Sunday that I needed to get a jump start after my battery warning light went on. It turns out my alternator wasn't putting out enough voltage. I dropped it off Sunday afternoon at my mechanic (with no appointment) and it was ready the next day. I checked the voltage this morning through the climate control and it hovered around 14 volts.

I also checked my coolant temperature since it was a few ticks to the high side and that never got over 90 C, it doesn't look like I need to replace anything.

My TT is happy again!

Now I just need to get a new wheel, poly bushings for my front sway bar, rear sway bar endlinks, eventually a clutch, maybe replace some synchros... should be ready for a track day after that.

Default good....but >>>>

are you validating coolant temps through block 49 on the HVAC controls? if not, you need to check there...

Default wheel, plastic bag, alternator

I think you started a new game akin to rock, paper, scissors...what beats what though?
