For those of you not following my tale of woe, I purchased my TT recently, and pulled into a gas station to fill up my tank. My car would not allow me to put in more than a gallon at each of the stations I visited. In fact, it spewed some gas back at me at one point. (Very bad manners indeed) My dealer replaced the entire gas tank and gave me the car back with a full tank of gas in it. I talked to the mechanic and he said that a valve located under the filler cap had malfunctioned, causing the filler tube to collapse. The only way I'll know if it is truly fixed is to drive it until its nearly empty and then try to fill it up. Somehow I'll bear up under the torture of having to drive and drive and drive my TT in the unseasonably warm weather we're having.
