Default Update on stuttering and surging issues, car is running very lean

Didn't get a chance to run any logs yet, but figured it was maybe just a run of the mill misfire. Pulled the coilpacks to swap in some spares and figured I'd take a look at the plugs too, all 4 are showing very lean. These were all swapped in about 1000 miles ago so this is a recent problem.
Block 032 is showing values within about 2% of 0 for correction factor, I'm surprised with the plugs showing evidence of running lean that the correction isn't further off or that I don't have a system too lean fault (no faults at all actually).
The MAF is about 20k miles old, I don't think I've got any boost leaks. Fuel filter is 30k miles old and I don't think it is related to the injectors because all four plugs looked identical.
I'm currently skeptical of the pre-cat O2 sensor that I installed about a month ago but don't really have any other ideas. Sorry for the rambling, have new coilovers and want to go play but need to sort this out first

Default might possibly be the slightly larger displacement/volume of the intake mani? >

And do you run a **** or have an adjustable fpr?

Default Hadn't thought of that but this has started much more recently than the manifold

and the car felt very very torquey after the install. I do have a **** with a fixed 4-bar. Since block 032 is showing near 0 I'm not sure what I'd adjust on an adjustable FPR anyway.

Default small leak somewhere then? >

have you checked the bolts on the mani for torque, for instance? Beyond this I'm out of ideas. ;-)

Default I did re-torque the bolts on the manifold and three were a bit loose

near the 1st two cylinders. Hoping that will make a difference, will give it a couple of days.

Default suspecting some possible similar issues here too, John. Will try to get out your way soon.

Perhaps the cars need group therapy, or at least some cajun tots!
Attempting a coil pack swap in the next couple of days...

Default if it started around the time you swapped the o2 sensor in>>>

i would pull the post cat sensor and swap that in for the pre cat sensor (assuming that hte post cat sensor is working fine)......regardless, even if it is bad, you would see a difference quickly...be careful not to bang the tips on either of this sensors.....reboot the car and test! ;-)

Default That's an easy one to try, will try to get under the car tonight and do the swap

Question tho, will the cable from the pre-cat sensor be long enough to make it to the post-cat plug?

Default depends on how short>>

you made the cable....you used a generic connector right? IIRC they come with long lengths of wire....
you will need about 18" or so of length to reach the connector from the bung.....i know i left mine long, and wrapped them tightly with zip ties....
If not....that plan may need to be scrapped....the blue car has the newer o2 sensor correct??? not the 4 wire....you may be able to temporarily swap with Danielle (if she lets you) if it is the same setup...

Default

I used OEM sensors so I'm guessing I'm screwed on cable lengths
