Default It has other advantages (for me at least)

FMIC requires some cutting of my bumper cover (I'd rather not do that) and the extreme heat in TX makes me wonder about the effect of an FMIC on air flow to the radiator, especially in heavy traffic.

Default They (Tyrolsport) are suppose to be working on an SMIC for the 180...>>

but keep putting it on back burner.

Default I'd have considered a single for my 180; doubt if the market's there to compete >

w/Forge on the 225's.

Do you have oil and/or coolant temp guages? How much time do you spend in traffic?

Default Hans taught me the a/c Celsius readout trick on the coolant to keep an eye on it >

no oil temp, and an unfortunate amount of time in traffic - I have a shot sitting in Lakeway Tx last year waiting for an accident to clear, and the ambient temp reads 114; I ocassionally sit on freeways here in Austin at 4 pm coming and going to meetings, and right after I picked it up from the install, sitting at 80deg, ran one notch over tdc on the gauge...

Default I will probably add an IC within next year. Would never spend $1500 for one. If performance

of one Tyrol SMIC plus one stock SMIC matches or comes close to that of one FMIC, then I would pay $800 for it.

Default I use the a/c readout as well, putting in an oil temp guage soon.

I'll wait to hear from you how things look in the summer heat.
