Default Get a piece of wire about a foot long and use it to bypass the switch in the door. The switch

completes the circuit, so the wire takes the place of the switch.

The passenger side motor turns in the opposite direction.

Default Sounds like not enough power is going into the motor. I think your motor and regulator are fine...

Get a multimeter. Hook it up to the 2 motor wires. Open/Close the window and see if the juice had dropped significantly from 12V or 14V (engine off or on) during opening. If so, it could be a switch or relay. Most likely the switch.

On the other hand, if you don't see a substantial drop in the voltage - maybe less than a volt, and the motor gets very warm, you know it's consuming all available current to fight a bind. Then it's the regulator or a window alignment
