Default Upgraded Diverter Valve- Benefits?

I have read so many posts on getting a new DV- whether it be a Forge, strat or otherwise, but I'm not completely sure I understand the true performance benefit of upgrading from a stock one if it is not malfunctioning.

I do have the APR 93 program in case you want to tailor comments.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Default boost comes on lower, smoother and faster.

also, with the newer units, they're adjustable, which really is nice.

further, they can be easily removed and cleaned, meaning that they'll stay all sorts of wonderful forever, if properly maintained.

Default Which dv are you using? Why adjustable - what purpose....

Would you also need better hoses? Thanks again

Default i'm using the new hyperboost valve, though i started with a 1st hyperboost.

the adjustment is essentially the same as the 'washer mod' on other dv's as it changes the spring pressure. you can do a search on this to generate much better information than i can provide. good luck.

Default I can't seem to find anything on the washer mod- can someone explain

what the differences (benefits) are with an adjustable vs. non adjustable (Hyperboost adjustable)

Also what about diaphram DVs (DVR from Forge) vs. Piston (007 from Forge & Hyperboost).

I am slowly learning about these, but more info and help is very appreciated. help
