Default Used Mov'it brake kit available for immediate install

Steve D'Gerolamo at The Ultimate Garage has a used Mov'it big brake upgrade kit available for immediate sale. It was installed on Mance Etheridge's TT who barely used it before moving on to a new project car. Steve tells me this kit will include new rotors and pads and should be virtually indistinguishable from new. He's offering it at a $300 savings.

Although he's technically my competition, he's also a good friend, so I'll make myself available to install it. I'll especially bend my schedule if you want to have these brakes on your car before TT-East. I'm located in Maplewood, NJ about 35 miles south of Ultimate Garage. I'm heading up there tomorrow to drop off some of Denny's extra spacers (a long story), so if you contact Steve and make the purchase arrangements, I'll be happy to pick it up and bring it back here, saving you a stop on your way to having it installed.

Steve may be reached at (201) 262-0412 or at ultgar@earthlin k.net.

Default These have red calipers w/Porsche logos, by the way

They should look similar to the ones on my 2001 BMW 540i 6-speed.

Default I would but have to spend my pennies on other things this week

And it leaves little for Big Reds right now =(
Although I will be in dire need of upgraded brakes very soon...

Default Not sure, but if they are, I don't know if I will have time to ...(m)

... install those before the TT-East event. Front installation is about a 3.5 hour job, not including the mandatory lunch at Panevino and the beer afterward. :-)

Rear installations can take MUCH longer depending on the application. For example, the BMW 540i rear is an entire weekend Olympic event. I documented it here: E39 rear brake installation

Default I've drooled over these at the UG site before. How do they...

compare to StopTechs (other than price, of course)?

Default Front Kit looks like this

GT3/996tt monoblocks with 322x32mm rotors. As Mance kept the calipers, I'm not sure if the fronts will say "Movit" or "Porsche" but they will be brand new. SD

Default I checked with Steve. He's never sold a TT rear kit in this country. So if ...(m)

... Mance did rear brakes, he must have used somebody else's parts.
