Vanity Plates
Just a quick story to share with my fellow TT owners. Picked up my Brilliant Black 180Q a few months back and went to register my new baby. I had come up with TTL8 as the plate I wanted, I actually stole it from an article on the TT I had read. No problems, they give me TTL8 and send me on my way with temp tags and in just 3-5 weeks I'll have my new plates. After waiting 5 weeks, I get a notice of a certified piece of mail so I go to pick it up figuring it's my plates. It turns out being a letter from the NH Dept. of Safety stating that my plate was issued in error and it needs to be returned and replaced asap. After arguing with the kind folks of the NH D of S, I lost my TTL8 plate because it was found to be too offensive to have. After plotting to go with FUNHDS - F U NH Dept of Safety, I gave in and went with ATTUDE!
