Default Version 2 of my custom steel wheel center caps - what do you think?

I found a set of caps at a speed shop, evidentially Ford steel wheels typically call for these "dust caps". They sort of fit, but I used crazy glue just to be sure they don't come flying out! I didn't realize how scratched up these new steel wheels were ... looks like my next project will be to re-paint them.

But the caps look nice, I think --

Previous post on version 1, of my center caps ...

Default They look really great. Oh, meant to tell the sTTeel wheel group that

my friend that has the sailboat "Crazy Horse" down at the marina where we ate asked me last night, "Den, what's the deal with the TTs that were there with the black wheels?" Once I explained, he thought it was a cool idea. Told him you were customizing ... !!!

I'm going to call the manufacturer to see if I can get a quantity discount on the caps ... looks like there's some interest here on the forum.

Default Re: Where did you find these -- Speed shop near TT-DesignParts ...

I threw out the packaging, and the receipt, of course -- so now I need to retrace my steps. Once I do, I'll see if I can buy a couple dozen of the caps, etc.

Default Re: sTTeel wheels ...

I'm saving my pennies for a 3rd set of wheels now -- I'd like to have them anodized black -- I REALLY like the way they look on the Nimbus, with the black rag top ...
