Default VF Engineering and 034 motor mounts...

So the research begins...In the past 12 hours I've been exposed to yet another opportunity to modify/upgrade as at least one of my mounts is bad. Time to change them all.

It would appear to come down to the VF Engineering or the 034 Track density mounts at this point. I've seen several people using the VFE mounts but nothing on the 034 Track density version.

Any thoughts on what you do or don't like about them would be greatly appreciated!

Default Both will increase vibration in the cabin. I had VF and after a year...>>

replaced the engine mount with a stock and vibration all but disappeared. The tranny and dogbone are still there.

Like Hans mentioned, 60 - 80K is the max.

Default I have the full VF set, and with all of them, there's no vibration.

People seemed to have vibration issues when they'd do it piece-meal...

Default I love my VF mounts >>

I was able to get rid of ALL of the vibration by playing with the idle speed. The car feels and shifts much nicer with the VF mounts opposed to when I had the stock mounts. I've had them in for a few years now and don't regret it for a minute.

That being said if you wanted to stay stock my original mounts have less than 30k on them if you wanted them.

Default John LZ7W has the 034's - he had some difficulty at first; lots of others have them >

I've got the VF's and they WILL vibrate at idle; past that they're great, and the idle vibes ;-) don't bother me.

Default VF engineering worked for me after I sheared stock mount- new bushings needed after 60K

Beware of crappy customer service though. Took a half-hour to place a simple phone order.

Default Mine were good for about 130K.

Was a very nice refresh when replaced though (with OEM).
