Video of intake air hose collapse at 5000 rpm
A week or so ago, over here in the UK, we discovered that the intake air hose on 225 TT's that had been chipped would collapse at about 5000rpm, restricting air entering the engine.
You may be interesting in following the link below to some video footage of this occurring so that you can see the problem.

Here I am, staring at the little hose up front going 'hmm, doesn't look like it's collapsing..'
Sigh, must read the dang description first next time. How did they get the camera in there? Duck tape?
