There was a scary moment this afternoon at the dealership when my VIN # didn't appear on the most recent delivery invoice. After a few phonecalls, it ends up that the original one they built for me was "damaged beyond repair." Glad they kept it instead of duct taping it and shipping it over anyway. I wonder what happened to it? I now have a new VIN for a car with all the same options/colors.

I had a friend who ordered a Prelude when they were first redesigned (way back in 1984) and hers was lost in transit...it was apparently the last car on the truck (you know that one that's always hanging off the top rack and looks like it's going to fall?) and broke loose on the highway somewhere along the way...the guys at the dealership said it was pretty unrecognizable by the time they peeled it off the asphalt.
Keep the faith, I'm sure you'll be tooling around town soon...
