2nd is much cleaner and more iconic. 1st is too busy and less focused.

Grpahically, you lose the flow with the chevron reversed. It doesn't "aim".

Default The dragon from last year was a MUCH better design.
The 2008 dragon is too clipart-y. It looks too much like it's been photocopied about 40 times. Not clean enough. And coloring the dragon blue causes too much to be going on. The VW logo is ok because it's small and a logo, so it sort of has to be that way. But the dragon should be grey, or maybe the red or yellow.

Less is More. That is, after all, one of the primary design premises of Audi &amp; VW design. (Until recently anyway).

Good advice: the "dragon" 2008 is (IIRC) a griffon. Symbol of Ingolstadt!
