Default The best bet is to have a spare ECU for dealer visits.....
EMCS is not really a good way to keep prying eyes out of your ECU since the chip is physically still in there and you could be <b>VOIDED!</b> =)

Default I've heard the the dealer is not "supposed" to do this.
If there is a problem with the ECU, they are supposed to replace the whole thing. There shouldn't be any reason for them to open it up.
