Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a while but have never posted. I have a 2002 GTI (same handle on vwvortex) and have been seriously considering trading it in or selling it and getting a slightly used 225 TT (probably roadster). I just wanted to see if you could post pics to help convince me to do it. Also, if there is a common place where a lot of TT faqs and basics are posted, please point me in that direction so I don't waste everyone's time. Also, I'd like to know of common quirks that TTs have with them - like coilpacks and window regulators for the vw people.

Hopefully this can end up being a decent thread for pics of all your rides. Convince me!

trade it for ALOT of cars.

Most of the issues are the same, coilpacks, DV's etc. One thing that does not seem to happen on the VW's but is prevalent on the TT is bad instrument clusters..

But I had already got my TTQR before I found out about this forum. Great place to get info and help others. Here's my TTR. I'm tickled pink and love it as both my daily (read that as year round in the snow, ice and sunshine of Wisconsin) and a great cruiser and twisty road tamer.
