Default Wanting to reduce brake dust, but ....

I am looking for aftermarket brake pads for my 3.2 to reduce the horrible dust buildup. After 3 days my wheels are as black as my car. I called every place I know (dealer too) and looked on the web to see what was available. Seems no one makes an aftermarket pad for the 3.2. Are these brakes THAT much different than the rest of the world? Can I get complete replacement (rotors, calipers, and pads) for my car instead of just the pads? The dealer said I was stuck until Audi provided a better brake pad. Any ideas?

Default We have Mintex pads in stock.

Low dust, good general street pad.<ul><li><a href="http://www.pure-motorsport.com/products/description.php/II=305/CA=319/PA=3">Mintex</a></li></ul>

Default Same brake pads are used on BMW 750i, Z8...

Search on those cars and the pads should fit your 3.2 brake calipers.

There are lots of options. I think when my pads wear out I will look at some of the carbon ceramic ones like Porterfield or such.

Default Pagid has pads for the 3.2

but they are a racing compound, although they are not too bad on rotors. Pagid Orange pads are available for somewhere around $250 front set only. They probably have rears also. Less dust, but some squeel on the street if you choose to run they there. Bedding procedure is aggressive. Got mine from Anderson Motorsport, check web site.

Default I'm happy with the Mintex Red Box on my fronts.

The Mintex in front yield the same dust as the OEM rears.
