Default Washer Fluid

Does anyone know what kind of windshield washer fluid is used by the dealer? Can it be purchased outside the dealer?

My fluid has a distinct "alcohol" odor to it.

Thanks,
Kevin

Default A lot of dealers just use the generic blue stuff.....

Actually, the only dealer I have worked at that didn't was an M-B dealer.

Some German car shops use a chemical called "Blitz" from Wurth that has a smell like that.

No bug can resist it!

Get high power for your windshield wash. This will turn your washer fluid to "high-test" and keep your windshield cleaner in all situations. No streaking!

Comes in a measuring bottle for easy use. This will treat up to 40 quarts of windshield wash. A great product and a great buy!

250 ml (8.4 fl oz)

Default Both of these are sold at dealerships (at least mine) under the "Autobahn" name brand......

I've used the "904" and it seems close to the orginal factory fill. Here are the product #'s:

ZVW 177 906 and ZVW 177 904
