Washing car for the first time in cold weather. Any tips?

but it also takes any wax off the car

Just washed mine about an hour ago...

Rubber gloves with a second pair of gloves inside of them helps...and a warm jacket! And rinse the car down a lot before sponging if it's really dirty. Is sponging a word? Anyway, warm water is a good thing too. I used cold. It was....cold.

Other than that...you shoulda let me know...we could've had a car washing party. Or...not...
