We are not car nuts, we have other motives...<I think>

This was instigated by someone I encountered on Saturday (read: neighbor) who started giving me a hard time about how often I'm out washing, polishing, and generally taking care of my car. Sure, I'm a car nut, and I like my cars looking good, but I have other reasons for taking care of it.
People seem to not understand that Audis, as well as many other car manufacturers, have a very nice long-term corrosion warantee tacked onto the car. Audis are 12 years. That's hefty.
Now, in the section describing this part of the warantee, it states something along the lines "as long as the car is well kept". To me, this is enough reason to keep extra-good care of your car. Just that much more likely that there would be no problems 11 years from now if you find you have corrosion starting to come in.
So, next time someone gives you a hard time for giving proper care to your car, hand them a xeroxed copy of that part of the owner's manual.

You got 'em all except Books and Games. I abhore computer games (and pretty much all other "games" in the traditional meaning of the word), and I just don't have time to read books. But, yes, I go to movies almost weekly with the lady, music has always been a major part of my life, driving as well, I enjoy really high quality restaurants, and of course, sports cars.
You read people too well!
