Default Weight distribution: TT-FWD vs TT-Q

Hi,

Can I assume that the Quattro system changes the weight distribution of the TT, making it a bit more balanced front/rear? Anyone know the actual distribution figures? I know the FWD, but not the Quattro....

Default Re: Weight distribution: TT-FWD vs TT-Q

This is from Audi literature that I obtained from a dealer. FWD 62/38, 180Q 60/40. Curb weight is listed at 2910 for the FWD, 3131 for the 180Q. The curb weight for the FWD is listed as 2655 in the TT brochure so I don't know how accurate the weight distributions are.

Default Thanks! Interesting that the difference is that slight. Cast iron engine block must be (more)

part of the reason for the distribution. Still, 60/40 isn't bad....
