Default Weight reduction questions on the "RSTT"

does anyone know if the reduced weight - included removing the metal ballast in the rear?
I was thinking on it, and with the seat gone, and a few other deletions, did vag attempt to tweak the ESP program or Haldex.
...just a random thought.

Default It might be removed as I think the battery has been relocated to the trunk.

Do 3.2s have the extra weight?

Default I lost 15-20 pounds...

Hopefully that will make my TT quicker without the extra expense of the TT Sport.

Default Yanking the Air conditioner was a biggy....

That and the seats accounted for most of it. This is BY NO MEANS a lightweight stripper like, for instance a Porsche RS America, or other more serious attempts at weight reduction. This is a poser to generate a little last gasp of interest before the new model gets here.

As I recall, that was Warren's TT weight loss program as well.
