Weird growling popping sound when I turn off my car....any suggestions what that might be?

Default gggrrrrrrrrr Where's it coming from?
The exhaust will make a popping sound at times after shutting the car off, that's just the metal shrinking/expanding from the heat. Not sure about a growl tho.

Default I have sometimes "gtriiighs" sound from the dashboard(?) when turn off the ignition.
Not too serious I guess. Maybe some airconditioning flap closes.

This is sounding like it's coming from the front of the car.

I have a 1/2 tank of gas and haven't filled up in a week, so that can't be it.

Default It's in the front. When I got out of the car last night, I heard it a few times, but by the time I
tried to locate it exactly, it stopped.
