I just noticed this week that when i slow down i hear a werid hum coming from the back. I was wondering if it was something wrong with the car or could it be simply be tire noise? I only notice the sound when slowing down and pressing on the brakes does not seem to make it happen... Any ideas?

Check to see if exhaust is rubbing against something in back as in the heat shield

And if that fails- rotate the tires and see if the noise moves to the front - then you know
