Well, I still don't like the new grille. Any chance it can be kept off the next gen TT?

it will look like the 'old school' style that everyone has been seeing for the past few years. Audi has been making the double-grill look for the last few years anyway. Painting the center will bring that look back. Personally, I really like the new look. Makes the brand have a look of more substance/prestige.

....it's one of those things that just doesn't look right, no matter how much you want to like it! I'm used to the front of a sports car looking more horizontal than vertical. Low horizontal shapes look like they will move through the air easier & faster than vertical objects.
Then of course, there's the comparison to the Edsel grille!

It will deter many like me from staying with Audi when they shop for their next car. In this day when so many car manufacturers are coming out with such outstanding products, it is strange that Audi would do such a thing to jeopardize their brand franchise which barely more than "boutique" in the US in comparison to MB, BMW, and Lexus.

I wasn't so sure about it at first either, but every picture I see of the new A6 and that RS3 makes me like it more and more. I think opinions will change when it arrives in a couple of months and we begin to see them on the road (in person). It's been mentioned many times that it looks better in person and that current pictures don't do it justice.
