Default Well, just dropped the TT off at Jack Daniels (first time there) for service

Having window issues (which of course aren't happening now as the car knew it was going in for service), the glovebox latch broke, and the front end squeaks over bumps (actually dips) in the road.

The last two dealers damaged my car, let's hope this place is better. I was impressed that they actually called me yesterday to remind me of the appt. The service writer this morning was your typical one, though, didn't care for much detail and was way too quick to hit print (didn't ask if I had other problems)

They're loaning me a 98 Jetta GL for now... finally a loaner car that rattles more than the TT. :-D

Default Good luck! I circumvent the service writer's interest level...

by showing up with a detailed list of any problems and what I expect them to service. He gets one and a copy gets left on the dash. There's the risk of looking like a smart-***, but I find it helps make sure nothing gets "forgotten." And, as a reminder, in a couple of places is typed
"PLEASE DO NOT WASH THE CAR....THANK YOU!"

Hey my TT er... squeeks when going over rough spots in the road (or dips) its a very slight squeek/ metal sounding deal. Drives me nuts, I drive with the radio off quite a bit. The dealer of course can never hear it. Mine seems to be coming from the front left.

Common problem. Fix is to replace sway bar and bushings. Needed it done on my car.
