Default wet passenger floor

I got in my TT this morning and notice a wet spot on the passenger floor mat. I removed the mat and notice an even larger spot underneath which was about 12" x 6". We've had a lot of rain lately but I didn't notice any leaks from the windows, etc.

I have a 2001 Quattro Roadster. Anyone else had this problem? Is it possibly from the AC?

Default Your window went down on its own and then back up later?

Don't laugh...it could happen!

Good idea. I have seen cars that dripped the condensation on the passenger's feet before.

Default I had a similar problem on a Toyota...

turned out to be the tube that carried the condensation somehow got routed inside the car.

Hope that it is something as simple as this.
Blauer TT

Default Could be a/c. Any moisture coming out of a/c vents?

Following from Bentley CD. I'd suspect lots of water backed up before it sprays:

With an otherwise properly operating A/C system, water sprays out of instrument panel vents:

- Check evaporator housing drain hose for proper routing (should not be kinked).

- Check evaporator housing drain valve.

Notes:

Check evaporator drain plugs for correct installation (should not be pinched or bent).

Check drain valves. They must not be plugged with wax, dirt or undercoating (clean if necessary).

Valve flaps must close properly.

Check air plenum cover (must be properly installed and not damaged).

Default No, no moister from vents that I've noticed.

I'll have to look under the passenger side of the dash tonight and see if I can see something wrong.

Default If you are in warm/humid area run a/c and see if it drops condensation...

on parking spot when you stop, like it usually does. If not, good possibility of stuck or plugged drain.

Try edit function of this forum. I use it to correct my spelling and grammar.

https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m.new/tt/</a
