what about ESP on a non-quattro?
so reading along here today, i learn how ESP interferes with quattro. i think personally they should just get along, but hey what do i know =)
but how about on a non-quattro vehicle? turning off the ESP then, i guess you'd get better acceleration, but then there's no system backing it up, yes? or does it make that much of a difference in dry soCal ?

I don't have ESP on my 225, but I know that several pieces of Haldex info here...
... have been false. Anyone else try to test the one with "put the handbrake up and then the car is front-wheel-drive..."? Thankfully I did that one in a "controlled" area...

Larry, what I get out of the article posted earlier is that it's optional to have the....
Haldex LSC working when ESP is activated. I think it's safe to say that we would need to speak with a Haldex or an Audi engineer to know for certain.
BTW, I just read that the software can be linked to your wiper circuit too!? Who knows what options in regards to Haldex we have? But if you turn OFF ESP, is ASR still working for you?
and ... i went for a little drive and tried ESP on and ESP off, and i'm sure the heisenberg uncertainty principle applied here - maybe the car was taking off faster with ESP off, or maybe i was just hitting the gas harder =)
