DV AA, AB, AC...... by DV ZZZ they should get it right.... emphasis on SHOULD.

Default Does anyone have a clue as to why Audi does not use one of the great aftermarket DV's or a copy

thereof as the OEM valve. I would imagine that the OEM valve is an incredibly inexpensive part, but statistically I would think it would be less expensive in the end versus constant warranty repairs on the DV.

Default Once was speculated that it had something to do with a supplier contract agreement...

Also, I would guess that if you do not frequent these areas, you wouldn't even know something was wrong. My Audi Dealer said it was instructed by Audi to not touch the DV unless a customer complained about it... I hope they didn't mean that even if it is failed they don't touch it...

My point is, this probably isn't costing them much (especially with all of the aftermarket purchases made at our cost).
