Default And cats! My dad ran over a cat on Northbound I-280 (just past Trousdale Dr.) ...

not sure what the hell a cat is doing crossing over I-280, but the cat survived after my dad drove over it in his Cadillac Seville. This happened when I was kid ... I yelled, "watch out for the cat" ... too late, my old man said "what" ... next thing I heard something roll under our car, I look back the cat is running to the shoulder of the freeway.

I did this back in 1989, when I was still in high school.

Default Electrical Gremlins, Clutch, and broken Motor Mount.(More)

From what I have heard talking to others that is not bad for a Lotus. I think the Electrical problems are standard issue on most British cars. I loved the car, but it was more at home on the track than in the city.......

Default I raced Class 1 Offshore once back in 86. 220kph means water's like concrete.

Couldn't walk properly for 2 days afterwards, just covered with bruises. That is truly wild **** - used to be crew of 4, but I believe less now. 200 mile race!
Driver just steers through the waves.
Throttle man constantly adjusting, keeping propellers in the water, but the hull out.
Engineer watches 2 8 litre V12 Lamborgini's like a hawk & juggles fuel.
Navigator (me) tries to see where the hell we're going.

That was probably the craziest thing I ever did.

Default Ouch! That's the only thing keeping me from looking for one.

Too bad. I really think it's one of the best sports cars around.
