What is with the CHP and Newport Police tripleing its presence the last few days? >
Last Friday on the 73 a GTi pulls in front of me at 70 to get out of the way of a CHP doing 125.. going after a 911 cabrio doing 100. Then Saturday a Newport Beach patrol car does a hard U in front of traffic when he hears me hit 4000 rpm at a whopping 30 m/h... Is it "prove you're a rookie cop week" here? This was a fraction of the action!
