Default what could cause a "crack" or "metallic snap" noise when the car is cooling down?

it seems like it only happens when the A/C was on, or at least it's more pronounced when the A/C is on. It's much louder than the normal noises one hears when a car cools down. Sorry for the vague question, but I don't know how else to describe what's happening.

Thanks!

Default Metal cooling. Normal. My TT's have always done it.>>>

The exhaust components are especially noisy when the car is cooling off.

Stainless exhaust makes more noise than stock if you have redone your exhaust.
