Default What does the 'Imola' part of paint colors mean?

Imola blue, Imola yellow, Imola Red? Does that just mean it is a non-metallic flake color?

Thanks.

Default Could be associated with this...( a town in Italy with racing history??)

Held every year in Imola at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack, the San Marino Grand Prix is one of the Formula One crowd's favorites. So much has happened here over the last twenty years; and the best of all are the incredible performances of Stewart, Villeneuve, Senna, Prost, Schumacher. One hour from the Imola race track, you will find the Ferrari factory and museum, Fiorano racetrack, not to mention the Cavallino restaurant. These attractions are certainly worth the trip.

The Italian hospitality, the high quality service at your hotel and the Lombardy gastronomy will win you over. We have selected for you a first rate hotel in Bologna: the Sofitel Hotel, located near the Di San Pietro cathedral.

We are looking forward to seeing you on this wonderful adventure!

Default Did you even read the original question? or are you just link happy today?

That is a fine looking machine. However, it does nothing to answer my question about what imola means in the realm of paint.

Maybe it means nothing and that is what you are hinting at?
