I know, yes this is an audi forum, but a lot of you guys know a lot about all sorts of cars.
Question:
lately when my beater civic shifts, it jerks - particularly downshifting from 2nd (it's an automatic). The car has over 150,000 miles on it, and so far, she's actually run pretty well.
So - what do you think this could mean? Does it sound minor, maybe solved by flushing the fluid? Or does it sound worse than that? There is no significant noise related to it or griding. (it's a 4 speed auto). Or have I been causing problems by turning the engine off while in Drive (meh - I got too used to a stick...)
Obviously any advice from a post can't equal that of an honest mechanic, but I just wanted to get an idea.
Appreciated...

I would make that assumption - I got the car a few months ago, and recently had everything topped, but didn't do a thorough inspection.
Is "jerking" a symptom of fluid problems?
