What gives the 225hp ver. of the 1.8 TT 225hp, as opposed to the 180 hp ver with the single turbo?

What gives the 225hp ver. of the 1.8 TT 225hp, as opposed to the 180 hp ver with the single turbo?
I thought the 225hp version had two turbo's but a buddy of mine with a VW Jetta with a 1.8 Turbo tells me that I'm wrong, and the 225 Audi TT does not have two Turbo's, just intercoolers or some such extra equipment which gives it the extra HP boost to 225hp from 180hp.

Bigger turbo, one additional intercooler, more boost programmed in by the computer
and some engine changes that are subtle yet necessary.
Sorry, just one turbo. The only current Audi with twin turbos is the S4.
