Default What kind of brake fluid are people running?

I'm going to be upgrading rotors, pads, lines, and fluid. Just wondering what kind of fluid to run. Thanks.

Motul and ATE Super Blue are great fluids, however not really for street use unless you like to flush them quite often. I used Motul in my streetbikes for years but it absorbs humidity via the rubber lines and seals throughout the system more agressivley than most. You will notice it getting darker in color and this is when its due to be flushed. Similar is my experience with ATE Super Blue.

The best thing I have found is by Valvoline, its a DOT 3-4 Synthetic but its fully compatable with whatever fluid may still be in the system. This makes it alot easier to "work it into the system" rather than an extensive flushing of the system at first.

It also has the heat resistance of the blue brands but seems to have a longer life.

Sometimes the best products aren't the prettiest color or the most exotic of brands.
