Actually, I got it from TTStuff, and they offered to replace it at cost...
but that means another couple weeks, and I have to pony up again. I have an email into Samco, but have not heard back. Should I call forge, as a us distributor of Samco?

You may be still ok, since that's on the turbo (inlet) side..>>
It's not really holding any pressure, the metal turbo flange is long enough. With a good hose clamp you still have plenty of area to clamp to.
The spooling turbo will suck the air in through the hose, so it won't be pushed off.
I'd just throw it on and see what happens. Oh btw, it will take your ECU some adaptation time.

I hate to be a stick in the mud but this is not a defect that Forge, Samco or TTStuff should
take care of....
Sorry...it is probably not a popular opinion but it was clearly from trying to install it.

I kind of agree. I don't think it's a defect as much as a bit of bad luck.
It just so happens that the wire was wound so that it caught the edge of the inlet on installation. Result: tear. If they don't replace it, I'll attempt to repair and install. What can you do?
