and while i do search for ways to improve its looks, i feel there is no need to cross boundaries which reduce the aesthetic appeal of the car.

as for performance, I feel there is no real need for me to build a 'monster' performing TT...however to make my daily driver more appealing to get into in the morning does involve improving whatever features of performance and looks in order to do so.

i'd say i'm 30% aesthetics, 70% performance....but neither one is a powerful percentage.

i'm MORE interested in trying to preserve the purity of the car as a design and engineering design. Sure it may be flawed, but it's less flawed than most other cars, IMO.

but as I think of it all my non-performance mods have been reductive in nature. all things to minimize any visual "static" from the core design.
