Drive! Rust forms quickly after (during!) washing.

Amazingly quickly.

You should see what salt does to them!

Drive, and use the brakes. A couple hard stops cleans it right off.

I am surprised you didn't get the whoel scientific explanation from our esteemed colleage John...

and I am not being smarmy or sarcastic. I was truly surprised.

The rotors are cast iron. Cast iron oxidizes very quickly. Drive.
