What should I expect when ordering from Clair Parts? (rant)

I have grown accustomed to online retailers large and small keeping me informed about my order after it has been placed-- no so with Clair, it seems. I placed a Web order on a Sunday, and specified 3-day shipping. The confirmation page came up, and stated Ground shipping. No email confirmation of the order.
I called the next day (Monday) to tell them I wanted 3-day shipping. Answer: Item has already gone out Ground. No email ever arrived indicating a tracking number or shipping confirmation. I got a load of Boston attitude over the phone too. No offense to those of you from Boston, but I'm from NY and have pretty thick skin, and I found these guys pretty short on the phone.
Forward to Monday a week later. No emails have ever come from Clair. I called again. Girl answering the phone says she'll email me a tracking number. Two hours later, I have no email from Clair, and they have just closed.
Forward to Thursday, 11 days after I ordered. I finally get the one guy on the phone who deals with tracking numbers, and he's been away from work all week. He tells me that my order was shipped out by US MAIL!! Not even trackable! I asked him why, and he said something about getting it shipped out late in the day. Huh? They have no idea where my package is, and are sending another, this time by UPS three day. He goes on to tell me that their servers have been down, so thats why I haven't received any emails. Why didn't the first two people tell me that?
Is this what I should expect from these people? I believe I'll do my business elsewhere from now on... my dealer would have come through for me, and I'm sorry that I didn't give them the order instead.
