Default What would be a good deal on a 2002 225HP Coupe? Help Plaese!!

They are having the Audi Assured extension and pricing the car $800 below original dealer invoice. However, I know that Audi is giving dealers very nice incentives to move these cars. How much below invoice should I be trying to purchase the car for. I am usually fairly comfortable with dealing with the Dealers, but these incentives have me lst with regard to a target price. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks,
Pat

you're probably looking at about $2000-2500 back that they're getting from A. so i bet if you were $1500 under invoice, they and especially you would be happy. in the end you saved BIG on an incredible car.

Default If they let you walk out of the dealership...

you have gone too low.

Most people hate it, but that is how the game is played. Keep lowering your offer and have the salesman call you. Go in on Monday and buy the car. Remember, Monday is the last day of the month and the last day of the first quarter. That is when the magic happens!

I'm not sure what part of the country you are in, and also I'm not sure how much the Audi Assured extension is.. but I was able to talk a dealer down to about $2500 below invoice back in November. (without the audi assured warrenty, just the standard 2002 warrenty) So I would imagine they would be willing to go much lower now?

I would expect more like $3K off minus what ever the TRUE value of the audi assured warrenty is.

Remember, you are purchasing a car that already has 1 full year of depreciation on it. I wouldn't spend a dime over what Kelly Blue Book currently lists a used 2002 225 with 0 miles.

Default $5000 off of MSRP last October for a new 2002

I think you could get them down to about $6500 off of MSRP in Metro NYC!

Good luck
