really good car speakers that retail for 1200$ for 375+shipping. These are 6 months used and have no warranty. And I found speakers that I wanted for a long time for 350$ (good price) that is brand new and come with warranty. O yeah, I don't have to pay shipping with the 350$ set because he lives close to me. what would you do??

take a risk on the really good speakers that I never even thought of getting because I couldn't afford them? or get the sets I always wanted. thanks!

Check out comments about the seller on eBay, will give you some indication as to relliability

if you can get a good price on the speakers you've wanted and you know they're in great condition, i'd go the risk averse route...you know you'll be happy with them.

I've bought 20 items or so in the past few years. Maybe I've been lucky.

If he has a lot of feedback chances are he's OK.
