Whatever happened to that Gentleman's Sport...
The Defamation of Character trial??? You say you've often wondered the same? Well, I'll tell you how I see it and you can opine if you've got a second and sufficient angst...
Have you turned on the TV lately? It's inevitably a mistake, but one does and there they all are a repository, nay a mausoleum of the depravity of "evolution's greatest triumph" - friggin' de-tailed monkies in Burberry plaid all of them, chattering nonsensically about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! When was the last time anyone of them made an observation of some impact, wit or salience? PROBABLY FRIGGIN' NEVER!!! I MEAN REALLY - WHAT'S WRONG WITH ALL THESE POINTLESS KNUCKLE DRAGGING SPINLESS DOLTS??? Not a character left amongst them to defame, if you ask me... people no longer say truly outrageous but true things in public fora or otherwise because they're just way tooooooo afraid of stepping on some upright cockroach's soft, exposed, unbecoming, underbelly of grotesque, blatant emotion and feelings... Where's the charm in that, I ask, huh? All of them, THEDIRTYFRIGGIN'RATBASTARDS, without two lousy bits of original thought to call their own or borrow and rub together as if discourse hadn't gone the way intercourse in the days of safefcuklesssex... Now it's just the same lousy two-bitless ambulance chasers all over the damned place trying to recover lost limbs and egos and determine the course of my future - WTF??? HOWDOTHEYHAVETHEGUMPTIONTOTHINKTHEMSELVESWORTHY!?! ?!?!
I AM RESENTFUL TO BE CONFINED TO AN AGE OF MEN SO UNLIKE ANYONE I EVER ADMIRED DAMMITT ALL TO HELL!!!

singlehandedly brought back to fashion - the feathered, unkempt "do," which obviously makes him a public figure worthy of one's admiration... that and he has that charming, affected, Brit. accent... :-)

the way of defamation of character trial, I suppose: a gongless/characterless society... :-(
damned shame too, if there was ever an age in which one needed gongs to announce the characterlessness of it all, this seems like it would be it
