What's the difference between Forge DV 006 and DV 007???

What's the difference between Forge DV 006 and DV 007???

Having had one failed OEM DV, I have decided to join the Forge club like many of you. I have read that there are two different Forge DV, one being a piston (006) and the other being diaphragm (007). Which is more suitable for our cars and what is the difference on the road? Thanks guys and gals.

I could be wrong but I believe the DV 007 is licensed to kill.

The 006 has a high maintenance O ring design that will eventually stick if not lubed and re-lubed.

The 007 is generally for S4s, A6s and Allroads . . .

.. . . so, I ordered my 006 from The Parts Department along with a set of suspension turret top covers for good measure.
