Do the re-manufactuered MAFs have a history of problems? Are they reliable?

Anyone got pics of where the vacuum lines are located, to check for leaks?

Default Actually the elements are new...>>

No more troublesome than the "New" ones. Quality seems a bit erratic. you shouly check block 32 if you have a VAG to verify the problem.

checking Block 32 today! 1st field out-of-spec = vac leak, 2nd field out-of-spec = MAF fault RIGHT?

Default Not necessarily....>>

A Bad MAF will usually show up in the Partial throttle numbers. A +22% or so (lean correction) is where the CEL gets triggered. Both values normally will be +/- 5%.

So if its say 12% it may just be a leak and not the MAF?
