what's the life expectancy of the OEM brake pads? my brakes are squeaking like mad!!

No, it's normal...
Some hard braking when the squeal comes back fixes the problem for me; I really DO believe it's brake dust buildup, given how much is generated, especially when the pads are new...

WOW...
I know it's a sports car, but geez, brake pads should last at least 40K...
I know on my old Ford Probe GT, which I drove pretty hard, the fronts needed to be swapped out every 50K, but the rears lasted 90K...

Mine started at 15,000 miles. I was told its normal. BULL****
My last car, a Toyota Supra Turbo, I had for 120,000 miles, and the brakes never squeaked.
My mother has an 87 Olds Cutlass. The brakes never squeak.
I spend 35K on "german engineering", and the bitch squeals like a NYC Taxi cab.
BULL****. I am calling AofA when I get around to it.

Mine is running Mintex redbox. They are so clean compared to OEM
So far, no squeaks. Fronts have Ma-FH20-Ma milage on them, rears less as there was a part mistake from the vendor first time.
Had these on an A4 and A6 - 20k miles is light, unless you track the car or are OcTTober?
