Default What's the verdict on non-res and resonated Milltek exhausts?

I am thinking about getting a Milltek exhaust, but undecided about the non-resonated high-flow versus the resonated high-flow versions.

Would like to hear from those with either one.

Is it louder than stock (hmmm...most likely)?
--at idle?
--to the market driving?
--spirited driving?

And what about cabin noise...at 3,000rpm?

I have both. I use the non-resonated though. (Keep in mind Im a college kid and dont mind the noise).
Cruising in 6th at 3K RPM isnt horrible actually, its mostly when you are kicking it or cruising in the lower gears from about 2500-3500. The sound is great though...I find myself not listening to the Bose quite as much...Deffinetly reccomend the non, and if you really dont like it, getting the resonated version isnt that expensive.

Are there any benefits with non-resonated besides the sound?

Default By theory non-res will run faster at hight rpm...

...and less back pressure. That's mean you will notic that you are slow on pick up but faster to 60. Get the res one if you want to smoke someone on green light. Get the nor-res if you like to have fun on freeway or in tracks.

Yea...I say just get the non for sound...then add a chip, down pipe, FMIC, SS, CDC, etc...
That will more than make up for the time you lose with a resonated pipe off the line
Believe me, that is what I did.

Default To Res or Not To Res...that is the question...

thanks for all the replys. Pete at Stratmosphere said that you can actually get both...get the res version then add the replacement pipe for the non-res version.

i think i will start with the res version and possibly, slowly work my way to the non-res version.
